At the end of another successful academic year at NIST, diploma in hand, radiating with extra ordinary dreams, hopes and aspiration you are now entering our NIST alumni community – over thousands of people around globe who have made a similar journey. As very proud and successful new graduates, amongst you are technocrats, visionaries, future thought leaders, and innovators who now enter the world of untold opportunities. Each of you have proved yourself to be successful, set the bar for achievement very high, and each of your stories is distinct, unique and powerful. My best wishes to you and the alumni community (the proud NISTIANs) around globe.

We at NIST are always focused with the mission to help you achieve the highest academic excellence, to be innovative, create entrepreneurial spirit in you, and imbibe social values contributing to the bigger and better good of the community, country and world at large. You’re in every conceivable field of work in many countries around the globe. Among you are technocrats, educators, scientist, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, social workers, volunteers and public servants. Differences abound, but we all share core values — a commitment to excellence, enterprising spirit, service, and drive to make a positive difference, and a common umbilical cord – your alma mater that unites everyone.

Your commitment to those values has never been more evident in your professional career, service to community, strong fellow feeling, common bond and love for your alma mater. You have spent one of the most youthful and productive parts of your life at NIST, developed unforgettable friendships, cherished the most enjoyable moments, value of collaboration, sharing, and caring. You are the brand ambassador of NIST – your alma mater.
