NIST honored Colonel Nikhil Kumar (BTech, ECE, 2001-05 Batch) with Distinguished Alumni Award 2022 for his seminal contributions and service to the Nation on the eve of 26th FoundationDay Celebration. He joined Indian Military Academy (IMA) after graduating from NIST and got commissioned into IndianArmy in 2006. During his 17 Year Career, he has served in J&K, Western and Northern borders and also in United Nation Peace keeping Force in West Africa in Civil War affected country. Colonel Nikhil Completed his Post Graduation from IIT Kharagpur and is presently Commanding a Unit in Indian Army.
